2012 Santander Master's Scholarships Requirements

Eligibility Criteria	This award is open to all students who have made an application for admission to study for a full time Master's course at Imperial College, starting in October 2012.
Value of Award	This award offers a minimum of £5,000 contribution towards Tuition Fees. Once a student's fees have been paid, any balance remaining will be paid directly into the student's personal UK bank account. There are a minimum of six awards available for 2012-13.
How to apply	All students who meet the "Eligibility Criteria" listed above will be sent an email to let them know that they will be considered for this award unless they send an email to scholarships@imperial.ac.uk letting us know that they do not wish to be.
Selection Process	Those who have applied for this award will first be assessed by their prospective departments. Departments are asked to submit their nomination and provide a statement indicating why they wish to support that scholarship application. Only students who have received an offer of admission can be put forward by their departments. Students who have been nominated are then ranked by a panel of senior academics and they will make the final selection. These scholarships will be awarded to those students who have been ranked the highest based on academic merit and potential. Student's admission application forms and references provided will be used to assess this.
Outcome of awards	We will let students know whether they have been nominated by their department in June 2012. For those who have been nominated we will let them know the outcome of their application by no later than July 2012.
